It’s Freimarkt – the Bremen version of Oktoberfest 🙂 Each year in october thousands of people come to Bremen to party 17 days on. These days, it’s really sunny and warm – perfect conditions for an evening stroll. Follow my two hours walk in pictures:

And here some tips for light paintings like these
- Best time for pictures is between 6pm and 7pm – I was a little to late.
- Use a tripod – well, that’s no surprise 😉
- Try and error to find your favourite combination of exposure and aperture.
- Don’t take money to Freimarkt so that you don’t risk to lose time in buying tasty food.
- Do bring food so that you don’t become hungry smelling all this tasty food.
- Change perspective – you think you’re finished with a certain attraction but a look back might offer even a better view.
- Do your photo walk on a work day. On weekends, it’s really crowded.
- Put your tripod in the small corners between two booth – so to avoid being run over.
Well, do you like my tips and pics? Maybe you even have a favourite? I’m looking forward to your comments 😉
